Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

KCC was born from a mission movement in 1975, as a small group of Spirit-led Christians from a C&MA church in the Philippines began meeting in a home here in Kailua.

The very heart of our church is tied up in missions as our denominational name says: Christian and Missionary Alliance.  In addition to joining with our denominational missions support of over 700 missionaries who minister to the least reached people groups, we also currently support four missionary families that we launched from KCC to share the Gospel globally, as well as other missionary partners.

But financial giving is not the only way we do missions. Over fifteen years ago, our lead pastor, Pastor Perry, began a partnership with local believers in Uganda to feed, educate, and house hundreds of poverty-stricken children.  We have sent many teams to Uganda to join alongside the local believers in carrying out this mission. We have also led teams to Cambodia and Mexico. If you have a heart for missions, would you let us know and we would love to join together to share the Gospel not only locally, but around the world as well.

our missionaries and supported ministries

Sharing the Gospel is the passion of our church ohana. Because of the generous obedience of our church in giving tithes and offerings to KCC, we are able to not only share the Gospel directly through the ministries of our church, but we are able to partner with others locally and around the world to take the Gospel where we cannot physically take it ourselves. We are financially, relationally, and spiritually invested with each of these missionaries and ministries and are committed to supporting them as they work on the front lines of advancing the Kingdom of God.

Encourage our active missionaries

Write an encouragement, question, or prayer to our missionaries and we'll connect you via email.
